A BRAND NEW TYPE OF MONOCROMATORS!
CLARIOstar PLUS uses a completely newly developed system of monochromators and filters for fluorescence detection, linear variable filters (LVF). Together with variable dichroic mirrors, a sensitivity is obtained (<8 attomole fluorescein!!), which corresponds to the detection level of the most sensitive filter-based readers available on the market today.
The wavelength range for excitation and emission is between 320 nm up to 850 nm where the wavelengths are selectable in steps of 1 nm.
The system with LVF also enables the bandwidth of the monochromators to be varied freely in a range between 8-100 nm. The effect is the same as tailor made the fluorescence filters for each given assay.
CLARIOstar PLUS has the market's largest dynamic range, 0-700,000,000 RFU, and can be equipped with dedicated detectors for fluorescent and luminescent measurement methods.
